This is a painful autobio. mixed media piece which deals with childhood molestation.  It stems from a full page poem written two years ago and has transformed into a full piece of art bringing to life the dual-selves that are born when such haunting tragedy strikes.  The images aren't pretty nor are they made for shock value.  I have tried to create a tasteful view of what it's like to be a victim of a crime which penetrates the mind and sticks.  It is about going from being a child to an adult in a flash without warning and without desire to do so...it is about

the loss of choice. It's not just about a cliche loss of innocence, but about so much more.  Anger, fear, hate, rebellion, redemption, guilt, alienation...to only touch on a few.  I hope the piece will open some eyes.  I know it has mine.
